The incumbent is responsible to plan, coordinate and resolve (Planner) issues for various 'Design & Build' projects, engineering & digitalization initiatives and facilities maintenance within the Group.This incumbent is also required to advise Management on planning strategies in supporting new & existing Contracts at various sea Ports and Oil & Gas plants (both in Peninsular and Sabah/Sarawak).The incumbent job responsibilities and tasks includes, but not limited, of the following:1. Creates, maintain, review and administer engineering design, tendering, procurement, construction and commissioning schedules & plans2. Liaise with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise3. Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to organize the phases of the engineering, construction and commissioning development4. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information/trends and recommending actions5. Present information for internal meetings on the project6. Resolve contractual issues7. Produce tender plans to support bidsMust be familiar and know how to operate the planning software e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project etc for planning and scheduling.
