RBMA & RBMP is active in Development, Production and After Sales Services of Car Multimedia products. RBMP is the Development / Engineering arm of RBMA in the areas of Project Management, Mechanical, Electronic, Software design and Testing for Integrated Head Units, Navigation Systems, Car Radios and the Connectivity Control Unit (CCU) platform for passenger cars. RBMA manufactures Integrated Head Units, Navigation Systems, Car Radios, Glow Control Units (GCU) and Heat Control Units (HCU). RBMA is under the CM (Car Multimedia) division headquartered in Hildesheim, Germany. Car Multimedia is one of the business divisions in the Mobility Solutions business sector of the Bosch Group.
Job Description
- Take responsibility in overseeing and provide direction to entire execution of the project technically and commercially.
- Plan, coordinate and manage the interfaces between various project phases and various contracts including design, procurement, commissioning and start-up. Manage a team to meet project objective, schedule, quality, cost, safety and risk mitigation requirements.
- Establish project budget, monitor and control of all cost aspects of the project, obtain approvals and take action to avoid cost overruns.
- Provide clear and focus leadership for project team to create a vision for the project success and a strategy to fit that vision.
- Handle request for quotations
- Follow-up of open tasks based on open point list
- Capture project status and monitor project execution
- Documentation of intermediate results and reporting of the same
- Creation of standards for documentation and maintenance of project related data
Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor degree in Engineering of Electrical/Electronics, Engineering of Mechanical or equivalent.
- Candidates with PMI (Project Management Institute) certificate and knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 will have an advantage.
- More than 5 years experience in project management preferably in Automotive sector.
- Structured approach in daily work activities, communication as well as documentation
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team
- Ability to plan, execute and moderate meetings independently
- Ability to work out and propose own solutions
- Excellent leadership, written and oral communication skills
