Job Description
TheMPlastic Molding Engineeringwill be based inBukit Minyak, Penang.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Follow though new product development from NPI, tooling fabrication DFM , tooling / machine buy off, qualification until mass production launch.
Establish Medical Molding Validation documentation – VMP, URS , Protocol and validation summary report.
Support project Manager to liaise with customer and design center for all technical specification clarification.
Direct engineer(s) in process improvement, designing production line for new products and workstation arrangement by Lean concept.
Attend to production difficulties and provide solutions which meeting quality standard
Ensure engineering document released by process, including ECN,BOM,WI and MEI, are complying ISO and EHS standards
Ensure validation report data integrity before submitting for customer review and approval
Supervise and support in manufacturing process related issue at both sustaining and new products
Leading the engineering team to drive on going improvement on process efficiency, reduce production cycle time and scrap rate.
Evaluate new materials opportunity to meet operation cost reduction objective and comply to spec.
Process costing evaluation for cost saving and quotation purposes.
Molding operation related Assets management and prepare Capex forecast.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
Strong knowledge of tooling, especially in high cavitation, high precision tooling.
Strong knowledge of 2-shot molds, cube molds, stack molds and low pressure molds (LPM).
Rich experience on DFM and pFMEA for tooling.
Rich experience of Medical injection molding manufacturing techniques, validations of molding processes (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
Experience with automation processes is preferred.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, forecasting, scheduling, real-time operations management and coordination of people and resources.
