Procurement Manager (Leading Manufacturing Company)

Job Description Open Position: Procurement Manager (Leading Manufacturing Company) A leading manufacturing company is looking for Procurement Manager to be based in Selangor office. Key requirements include: ·       Oversee company's supply chain management, procurement operations and cost saving exercises across the plants. ·       Take up the whole process of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory, logistics including shipping and distribution. ·       Work with internal stakeholders to understand the dynamics of production requirement in terms of supply and prices. ·       Monitor and forecast prices of core raw materials and manage contracts including negotiation and suppliers' performance evaluation. ·       Maintain relationships with key suppliers. ·       Deliver cost savings strategies. ·       Lead implementation of ERP. ·       More than 5 years of working experience as Manager in a sizable manufacturing company. ·       Bachelor's Degree. ·       Good written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. ·       Well versed with custom procedures and shipment process. ·       Always aware of world oil prices and forex trends. ·       Good experience in ERP system. ·       Experienced in procuring commodity products.
