Asa Procurement Specialist you will have the task to analyze the global spendfrom over 8000 suppliers/service providers database with the aim ofestablishing transparency and assessing the possibility of streamliningsupplier base across the organization. Act as a quality gate for onboarding ofsuppliers- to ensure only preferred vendors are utilized to control the supplybase. You will be supporting at a global capacity.Your tasks and responsibilities:·You are responsible toevaluate current global supplier registry of newly acquired company (over 8000suppliers) to identify transparency of spend and assign into rightfulcommodities. ·You are responsible toassess data pool of vendors in close coordination with the requestingdepartments to understand the scope, competency, and service performance ofthese vendors. It is also imperative that country specific regulations,geographic distribution & supply risk management are taken intoconsideration in assessing the supply base per country. ·You are responsible to Identifygaps against the compliant purchasing setup (if these suppliers have records ofcontract agreement, negotiated price list and vendor performance evaluation.)·You are responsible toassess common vendors between acquired company and parent company in order topool and consolidate the supply base. ·You are responsible toassess which tail end suppliers are to be flagged for phase out and whichsuppliers are to be retained and potentially developed. ·You are responsible tovet through all new supplier applications via supplier onboarding tool (Jaggaerdirect) to ensure preference is provided to incumbent preferred vendors toavoid buildup of supply base. ·You are responsible foronboarding of suppliers, ensure documentations and accreditation requirementsare in place according to quality & purchasing guidelines.Your qualifications and experience:·Bachelor's degree inbusiness administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.·8-10 years ofexperience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.·Must have 2-3 years supplier Management/Development experience.Your attributes and skills:·You shall have stronganalytical skills to perform analyses of the spend data, market research andunderstanding the requirements from the key stakeholders to conduct acomprehensive evaluation. ·You shall have strongnegotiation & communication skills with the ability to build and maintaineffective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. ·You have solidunderstanding of procurement processes, contract management, and sourcingstrategies.·You have strong commandon English speaking and writing. ·You are proficient in MSoffice applications like PowerPoint, Excels, Power BI.Our global team: We are a team of 68,000 highly dedicated employees acrossmore than 70 countries passionately pushing the boundaries of what's possiblein healthcare to help improve people's lives around the world.
