**Purpose of the Role**The Product Manager sits within the Commercial Team and is responsible for overseeing & coordinating product development, and executing the marketing & sales strategies for new products. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the R&D team to deliver successful products.We currently have 2+ products in active development, being covered by a number of people. This role will lead and centralize the development of these projects, and ensure progress is constantly made. This is a new role developing cutting edge products, so will require huge levels of enthusiasm, hard work and dedication.**Responsibilities**- Translate the overall business strategy into product strategy, and develop the product strategies- Set-up product development frameworks and roadmaps- Manage the products throughout their lifecycle from concept to launch, including project budget & timelines- Coordinate activities (trials, marketing, engineering, packaging, production, sales) with internal teams and external partners**Key Activities**- Run internal project meetings, coordinate activities, managing budgets & timelines- Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition.- Develop & execute; product launch, distribution and marketing plans- Attend events, deliver seminars and webinars on products to government agencies, industry associations and farmer groups- Coordinate trials with associations, boards & partner farms- Develop and manage export activities, product registrations, and overseas partnerships- Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market with insights on key differentiators and messages, develop core positioning and messaging for the product- Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish distribution agreements, and partnerships- Collect, manage and record feedback from all stakeholders throughout the development process and across product releases**Reporting Lines & Supervision**You will report directly to the Product Director, and work closely with the Sales Manager and Senior Sales Manager, as well as the Technical Product Executive.
