**Primary Objective**:- You will be responsible for fulfilling the Product Owner role within your Product team.- Represent the product team when engaging with the business and/or the Product Manager- Assist in defining product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities- Create and manage the backlog and have a clear perspective on customer goals and objectives and communicate these with all the relevant stakeholders.**Key Relationships**:**Internal**:- Business Stakeholders that present as customers of the Delivery team in which you operate - Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, IT- Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Development Team, Product Operations Team, UX Designers- Team members within the Technology Delivery team in which you operate- Technology team members operating outside of Delivery- Technology Leadership Team.**External**:- Required to liaise with external vendors and partners to ensure a common understanding of business and functional requirements.**Responsibilities**:- Build, edit, and maintain the team backlog, prioritising and coordinating expectations of customers/stakeholders while managing dependencies with other Product Owners- Represent the team when engaging with the business or the Product Manager- Actively involved in development stages- Make decisions on product features based on customer needs and business value, ensuring continuous release of valuable solutions.- Anticipate customer needs - especially from a journey lifecycle perspective- Liaise and monitor each phase of the product development cycle - at each review represent the customer to make changes and improvements- Communicate with the development team to explain product features to be implemented- Collaborate and work closely with various stakeholders including but not limited to customers, business leaders, development teams, scrum masters, and other stakeholders- Break down problems and develop effective requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the team- Application of agile analysis - epics, user stories, story decomposition, backlog refinement, elaboration, story mapping, prioritisation techniques.- Ensure that all solutions that are developed are value add driven and including validating business benefits vs costs - assisting with the prioritisation of true high value requirements- Work closely with the Product Manager to align Product value and vision- Manage business stakeholder expectations through clear and accurate communication- Provide team leadership and help drive shared responsibility for delivery outcomes within your team.**Qualifications**:- Tertiary Certificate/Degree qualification in related discipline- Product Owner certification - CSPO, PSPO, or POPM- Agile certification such as PSM, CSM or similar preferred- Agile leadership or coaching certification preferred- Minimum of 5 years product ownership experience.**Knowledge and Skills**:- In depth knowledge of Agile methodologies/practices- High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change- Strong planning, organisation, decision making and time management skills- Able to create and support a safe to fail environment- Strong influencing and negotiation skills- Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, interests and sensitivity of products- Ability to utilise various elicitation techniques to obtain requirements- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- High attention to detail and accuracy- Genuine desire to provide business value- Ability to work in an agile, complex, and rapidly changing environment- Patient and diplomatic- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines- Inquisitive in nature- Decisive in nature with the ability to think on your feet and make strong recommendations based on your commercial experience.**Key Result Areas**:- Quality and efficiency of development activity.- Accurate estimates for Delivery of outcomes.- Development of the Senior and Associate Software Engineer's skills.- Positively influence the Delivery Practices.- Contribution to transparency in project status and reporting.- Contribution to comprehensive delivery to customer requirements.**Sample of Key Duties**:- The ability to define, develop, implement and manage digital products and features that align with the digital strategy and roadmaps to ensure delivery of high-quality products, services and customer experience- Quality of delivery releases and alignment to customer requirements- Contribution to accurate estimates for delivery of outcomes- Contribution to transparency in project status and reporting- Contribution to clarity in business prioritisation- Contribution to effectiveness and efficiency of your team.**Sal
