About the Role
We are looking for a senior and experienced developer to lead the product development and maintenance of a critical Market Infrastructure solution, used in the scope of Foreign Exchange transactions.
As Product Owner, you have the challenge to prioritize the backlog of features and initiatives. You are responsible for the product vision and defining the epics and user stories to work on. You are accountable for the outcome of the squad and the success of the product in scope.
Working in an agile context, you also participate to the activities of the squad, using your expertise in terms of development, specifications and/or design of the solution.
What to expect:
Managing the product
Be the owner of the solution, both within SWIFT and for the external clients.Develop a product vision.
Interact and collaborate with the customers to understand the needs and priorities.
Scope the minimum viable products (MVP) taking into account existing resource constraints Define complete and consistent business and technical product specifications
Make sure product adheres to the highest quality standards, including security and non-functional aspects.
Accept sprint results at demonstration, be the ambassador of the squad within SWIFT.
Setting targets and work priorities
Maintain and prioritize the backlog, ensure completeness of the user stories
Ensure the necessary squad meetings take place, as per scrum methodology. Represent the squad within SWIFT.
Set objectives and key results; monitor the performance of the team.
Participating in Squad development
Responsible for defining the necessary competences needed in the squad for the success of the product.
Provides regular feedback on squad member performance
Participate in Product delivery
As a member of the Squad, contribute to the product delivery, in terms of development, requirements and design.
What will make you successful:
Master degree in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
Capacity to empower, lead and coach a group of IT profiles
Strong analytical skills, recognized as subject matter expert
Fluent in English (spoken and written), good communication skills.
Team player, open-minded, curious
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience and Knowledge
6+ years of experience in Information Technology, owning and delivering digital products.
Background in working with customer-facing solutions with high-quality standards in terms product delivery.
Established technical skills in the following areas:
Java Development – maven, JUnit
Unix & Linux – RHEL and HP-UX
Shell Scripting – bash and ksh
System Administration – Ansible
Database – Oracle
