Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Responsible to drive short term and long terms projects in the area of operations, supply chain and procurement. The project engineer required to work towards planning projects, establishing project criteria, coordinating project reviews, and ensuring the proper implementation of project elements.
Drive towards completion on project defined for continuous improvement. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards. Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations. Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions. Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability. Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions. Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability.
