Description To ensure smooth running production and deliver output at the right volume, quality and time. Manage workforce and handle shopfloor issues in the shift. Constant monitoring, perform internal auditing, adapt to changes and strive for improvement
Daily Operations
? Ensure production run smoothly as per planned.
? Revise program and change according to current situation
? Report/ escalate any issue during production to superior or support function
? Lead the team in handling daily issues at shop floor soonest possible
? Coordinate with Engineering in case of breakdown and assign priorities.
? Monitor kanban and inventory stocks
? Ensure all quality requirement, checks & SOP are followed by operator
? Monitor and enforce discipline measures.
? Handle and follow up manning issue on daily basis
? Perform frequent checks or internal audit as required
? Ensure full compliance towards safety, quality and productivity
? Follow up and close all findings during internal, external or corporate audit
? Coordinate and report any safety issue or discipline violation immediately
? Support activities from other department for trials
? Handle rework inventory and rework generation.
Continuous improvement and Projects
? Ensure all KPIs monitoring/ checklist are completed as required.
? Perform troubleshooting whenever required and implement solution through proper analysis process
? Communicate to support function effectively towards improvement
? Initiate and promotes improvement ideas
? Continuously drive towards low operating cost through cost improvement measures
? Lead projects/ assignments / Task Force assigned from time to time
Training and Development
? Ensure each operator given the right training and tools to perform works effectively
? Enriches workforce skills set by job rotation/ multiskilling/ and regular training
Qualifications
• Certificate or above in Engineering- Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Manufacturing
• Around 3-10 years’ experience in production management
• At least 3 years’ experience in leading people
• Highly skilled in troubleshooting, data collection and analysis
• Resource management experience required
