1. Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.3. Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing the products.4. Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets required specifications.5. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.6. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.7. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.8. Resolves workers grievances or submits unsettles grievances to supervisors for action.9. Compiles, stores and retrieves production data.10. Prepares a monthly and yearly production plan and material requirements.11. Submits a written monthly production report.12. Directs staffing, training and performance appraisals and evaluation to develop and control production personnel.13. Participates in the design, implementation and maintenance of organizational structures and operations to effectively accomplish goals and objectives.14. Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and-long range planning.15. Prepares department budget and submit to Finance Department by end of each calendar year for compilation of Company's annual budget.16. Helps commission new equipment, materials and work procedures.17. Assists the Quality Assurance Department in liaison with Product Certification authorities to maintain the Production Certification Plan.18. Assists with Technical complaints.19. Be a team-player in maintaining the ISO certificate.20. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by General Manager.**Requirements**:2. Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia4.
