Production Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets. 2. Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. 3. Setting Operations objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved; 4. Establish supporting departmental accountabilities to ensure smooth manufacturing process 5. Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. Promote stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies. 6. Ensure consistent production performance and productivity and encourage good quality practices. 7. Continually improve safety by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. 8. Oversee and promote good housekeeping in all areas. 9. Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management techniques. 10. Ensure the QMS are well implemented and maintained in all departments/sections. 11. Ensure the monthly production reports and trend charts are generated on timely manner QUALIFICATION 1. Degree/Diploma in any field 2. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in plastic manufacturing 3. Sound Technical knowledge SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 1. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conversational skills 2.
