Production Manager

To ensure that the production process runs smoothly, and that publication are printed on time- Involve in editing content and checking material to ensure it is accurate and free of plagiarism - proofreading and pre-press checking.- Planning a publication's budget may include paying vendors and contracted employees.- Managing project timelines and due dates with team members, typesetter, designer, illustrator or third party vendors.- To liaise with translators, editors, proofreaders, vendors, and authorities related to project documentation, submissions and to ensure all the approval are obtained on time with quality standards.- To advise necessarily and contribute ideas to the team members.- To assist in product research, design and development to ensure the quality of publications.- Undertake and execute any ad-hoc projects as & when required.**Requirement**- Possess at least Diploma in Design or Mass Communication.- At least with two (5) years of working experience in design and project management.- At least two (2) years of experience in managing a team.- Good command of English - excellent grammar and spelling skills.- Basic graphic design skills and web design skills: familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and has an eye for detail and be very accurate in his/her work.- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Understand their target audience and have good organizational skills- Resourceful, proactive and highly independent.
