**Job Description: Production** **Manager****Objective**: The Production Manager will organize and direct all resources within the production departments. The Production Mgr. will analyze, organize, and compile data gathered from internal and external sources to develop both long range and short-range production targets, maximizing productivity and value while adhering to established production goals and objectives. The Production Manager will minimize avoidable overtime and capitalize on available resources to meet agreed to customer deliveries and company expectations.**Primary Responsibilities**- Responsible for directing, leading and managing the daily operations of the production departments ensuring that they are safe, efficient and effective.- Formulate, develop, and establish plans to enhance departmental operating policies and procedures.- Develop continuous improvement plan to reduce operational cost.- Work closely with Scheduling and Purchasing Mgr. to meet and exceed production targets, reduce waste, improve efficiency and the achievement of the established schedule.- Collaborate with other departments and subordinates to resolve issues and introduce new ideas to improve operational efficiency.- Ensure product quality by supporting customer and internal specifications from a production perspective.- Train and mentor production supervisors and employees to deliver on commitments and objectives.- Develop, review and implement suitable measured performance standards for production supervisors and staff ensuring that they are continuously met.**Specific Duties**- Manage departmental activities to complete tasks allocated for production within the allotted time frame to meet delivery & quality expectations.- Provide timely, accurate and complete production documentation as dictated by SOP's.- Provide timely, accurate and complete costs for products using the approved metrics for costing.- Ensure that all components and materials are on-hand, QC approved and verified sufficient quantities before the start of production.- Analyse trends both positive and negative in production to determine raw material and man power requirements.- Conduct with Scheduling Mgr. daily GYAT meetings with key departments.- Ensure sufficient manpower to effectively and efficiently operate departments.- Prepare and review weekly department overview report with GM.- Ensure that Work Orders and BOM's are accurate and updated as needed.**Miscellaneous Duties**- Maintain staffing availability calendar.- Other tasks that may be assigned.**Salary**: From RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Meal allowanceSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary- Performance bonus
