Production Operator - Rawang

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Including the following:- Assist with & prepare machinery set up for scheduled production runs.- Assist production until daily schedule is complete.- Follow all standard operating procedures to operate machine efficiently.- Operate machine in a safe manner by following all safety guidelines.- Use overhead crane to move material between machine, conveyor &staging areas.- Weigh and label material ready for packing- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Min SPM- Experience of working with production is an advantageKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED- Must be willing and able to be cross trained in department.- Requires ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and workstandards.- Requires ability to work independently and within a team structure.- Requires ability to be observant for problems and respond quickly.WORKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS- This position works in a plant manufacturing setting.- Exposed to moving machinery such as forklifts and production equipment.- Exposed to loud noise from production equipment but ear plugs areprovided- Production area is not air-conditioned- Able to work overtime**Salary**: RM1,191.43 - RM2,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insuranceSchedule:- Day shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- Rawang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
