**Position: Project Designer****MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Conducts site surveys, field verification, and test fit plans- Designs and creates construction documents for construction/permit, including technical details- Creates clear and accurate redline drawings for junior staffs- Able to check all deliverables for quality, accuracy and completeness- Develops and completes client deliverables, including interior plans, elevations, and finish boards- Develops presentations and 3D renderings as needed- Conducts research for the project team- Develops space requirement programs, space plans, and conceptual designs with team- Review work for design integrity, accuracy, clarity, and quality- Researches and recommend materials, codes/specifications as they relate to project solutions- Forms a client and consultant interface and project leader throughout the project**REPORTING : Project Manager****AUTHORITY**:**COMPETENCY REQUIRED**:- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Planning and organizing- Time management- Decision-making- Communication skills- Leadership skills**POSITION REQUIREMENT**:- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture- Experience in Commercial Interiors such as Workplace/Corporate, Healthcare, and Retail, is highly preferred- Actively pursuing, or has completed, licensure or certification- Knowledge and understanding of building codes, and local permitting experience- Knowledge of project costs and contracts**SKILLS REQUIRED**:- Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously.- Strong knowledge of the design process, including colour and materials, and specifications- Strong communication skills required to demonstrate design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphically- Ability to work on multiple projects quickly and simultaneously while maintaining quality and customer service- Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia both written & communication- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite**Salary**: RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to Friday- Weekend jobsSupplemental pay types:- Yearly bonus**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)Ability to Commute:- Ara Damansara (required)Ability to Relocate:- Ara Damansara: Relocate before starting work (required)
