**Job Purpose**This role is part of the project development team which is tasked to deliver pre-FID development of medium to large capital projects. The role also supports implementation of these projects post-FID until completion. In addition, this role also expects to support the Section Head in delivering strategic studies such as hydrocarbon masterplan and assessing growth opportunities.**Principal Accountabilities**- Participate in the Projects Development/Scouting process for medium to large capital projects and take on the lead role as appointed up to FID.- Take responsibility over the development of both technical and commercial aspect and end-to-end delivery of the projects. This includes providing design information required by the licensors and EPC contractor, development of scope of work documents to support capital cost estimates and project economic justification.- Develop and support projects identified in the HRC business plan, according to the project management system and the refinery MOC system, in close co-operation with the project department. Ensure that the IP's are submitted in a timely manner and that the required functional support is obtained. Follow-through implementation and evaluation of the success of a project is an integral part of this job.- Responsible to review process engineering deliverables outcome from front end engineering design to execution stage (detail engineering and construction) and commissioning phase- Support Project Team in preparation of estimates for funding requests to the HRC board and participates as needed in these reviews.- Coordinate and integrate various parties to achieve the common goal. The integration is not only limited to internal refinery but will also involve 3rd party e.g. licensor, vendors and engineering contractors.- Coordinate and support the development and implementation of business opportunities from specific studies (e.g Site Value Growth Plan, Strategic Studies)- Support the site Business Improvement Plan (BIP) process to enhance margin delivery of the site by facilitating efficient implementation of tactics and ensuring a healthy tactic funnel is always in place.- Most importantly, ensure all project activities are conducted and managed in accordance with agreed Health, Safety and Environment practices and procedures as outlined in the Refinery HSSE Management System and group guidelines.**Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience**- Degree: Chemical Engineering.- Minimum 4 years working experience in the field of Process Engineering.- Prior experience in the Crude Refining processing environment would be an added advantage.- Exposure or inclination to the Project Development aspects of Process Engineering would be an added advantage.- Have prior experience doing detail engineering technical review not limited to hydraulic calculation, equipment sizing review and PID/PEFS.**HSSE and Process Safety**- Ensure the projects are compliance with HSSE and Process Safety throughput the development and execution stage.**Analytical**- Demonstrate the ability to gather data (both through data searches and personal interviews) and draw sound conclusions leading to the identification of right approach, coupled with the ability to develop appropriate solutions to issues encountered throughout the project.**Communication Skills**- Demonstrate effective and efficient verbal and written communication skills.**Salary**: RM13,500.00 - RM16,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to Commute:- Port Dickson (required)Ability to Relocate:- Port Dickson: Relocate before starting work (required)
