Responsibilities: Independently perform all tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering work. Responsible for the design contents as assigned together with its follow-up for Authority and Client's approval. Responsible for the preparation and review of design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for the design projects. Responsible for the participation in the progress and coordination meetings and workshops for design projects. Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on design projects. Review of works produced by the engineers and the necessary coordination with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design projects. Oversee the work of less experienced engineers. Assist in preparation of tenders / bids. Minimum Requirements Knowledge of design and analysis of mechanical systems (HVAC, process, steam, gas, fire protection, plumbing) Minimum 3 - 5 years hands-on MEP design experience in infrastructure / rail / stations and equivalent Excellent communication & technical writing skills Familiar with local code and authority submission procedure. Good oral and written skill in English, able to produce technical papers and report. Registered Engineer with Board of Engineers, Malaysia Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution What we offer When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
