BH-260779-1Posted: 14/02/2024- Competitive- Malaysia Kuala Lumpur- Permanent- Oil & Gas**Overall Purpose of the Job**The Project Manager will lead and direct a team of technical professionals to deliver various Projects / Tenders successfully and safely in APAC while ensuring schedule, budget, and quality standards are not compromised while considering a fast-track and cost-conscious build program. He/she should have a sound knowledge of process, mechanical and ECI engineering related to oilfield production systems, both onshore and offshore, and experience of full project life cycle from concept to operation & maintenance.- **Accountabilities**- Responsible for APAC Production Tenders Delivery including scope of work, Risk Register, Schedule, Cost to Build review and proposal deliverables.- Prepare detailed equipment technical specifications (with necessary discipline input) for static equipment packages and rotating equipment (pumps, generators, compressors etc).- Work with procurement team to prepare tenders, review vendor bids for technical, QAQC and HSE compliance; prepare technical bid tab and make recommendations to RPLM based on "best value.- Assume full responsibility for vendor management of equipment PO's assigned from bid evaluation through to delivery including; Visit vendor workshops; expedite progress; resolve technical issues and perform in-progress inspections, FAT's and Final Inspection.- Chair clients & vendors projects KO meetings and review client and vendor documentation within the agreed timescales.- Accountable for APAC Production Projects Delivery including ensuring that the project team are aligned with best practices for successful execution and that the budgeted cost, cash flow, and schedule are achieved whilst maintaining quality and performance requirements.- Provide engineering, design, and installation ideas to management during the execution of projects so that challenges and solutions are conveyed either by direct interaction with the client, production product line, or via the regional technical groups, where applicable.- Issue resolution and risk mitigation to ensure timely delivery without compromising safety and quality.- Identifying and implementing Change Management with Clients and Vendors.- Provide regular project status updates to Senior Management as required including but not limited to, HSE performance, actuals and forecast against the AFE, schedule forecast to completion, both internal and external (client) reports are required.- Directly participate in the preparation of a Project Execution Plan and other key Project Management deliverables for either proposals or live projects.- Background in oil & gas related sector with a minimum of 15 years' experience, 10 years within Project team environment.- Onshore and offshore field production systems and control systems.- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.- Scheduling, Planning, and Project Financial Reporting.- Good knowledge of process technology and rotating equipment.- Knowledge of equipment capital and operating costs from experience/knowledge basis.- BSc and/or PMP qualification or equivalent.- Knowledge of oil industry design standards.- Interpersonal skills for team environment.- International experience and an ability to travel without restriction.With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
