**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:Planning and Supervising- Plan and supervise steel structural projects, ensuring progress, quality, and adherence to design and regulatory standards.- Monitor local contractor panels' quality and installation progress. Maintain site supervision, coordinating with stakeholders for timely project completion aligned with objectives.- Manage budgets, and procure equipment/materials. Provide detailed tender budget breakdowns, update project budgets, control costs, and track variation orders.Technical Support and Risk Management- Oversee steel structure construction, interpreting designs, and guiding technical teams. Direct draftsmen to develop precise construction drawings according to applicable codes.- Assess potential risks, materials, and costs associated with projects. Monitor variations in work, assessing impacts on time and expenses. Mitigate identifiable risks effectively.Communication and Documentation- Maintain compliance with regulations, safety, and permits. Provide essential technical files and documentation. Conduct status reviews with project teams, main contractors, and clients.- Ensure proper project documentation aligns with company standards. Interpret contract documents, offering insights for resolving contractual disputes.JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in civil and structural engineering or a related field.- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in steel structure construction site engineering.- Familiarity with relevant steel structure building standards.- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and communication skills.- **Fluency in both verbal and written Mandarin is required, as this role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and management.****Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM10,500.00 per month**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Construction management: 3 years (preferred)
