Project Procurement

1 Report to Program Manager/ Assistant Manager/ Manager.2 Develop technical expertise on machining/fabrications and other commodities as required with emphasis on first pass yield and sustainability within the supply chain working closely with procurement team.3 Develop effective working relationships with Suppliers and Partners, which will include the development of Procurement contracting framework, pricing policy, terms and conditions and negotiating strategy.4 Understand and conform to the requirement of Quality, Environment, Safety and health management system.5 Manage and coordinate all Procurement activities, including monitoring & control of supplier Quality, Cost & delivery performance.7 Develop and implement a strategy to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, savings, mitigate supply chain risk and deliver cost.8 Hold technical discussions with suppliers to identify the cost reduction opportunities & work with marketing & NPI team to enable those projects9 Manage supplier relationship and perform supplier feedback periodically.10 Work on the cost reduction to meet customer price.11 Responsible for data base integrity within management assigned area of responsibility.12 Visits suppliers as leader of a supplier qualification team to determine if source are capable of meeting present or future company needs.13 Maintain and update price lists and agreements in order to guarantee accurate documentation for purchasing decisions.14 Build industry know-how, coordinating, analyzing and interpreting information about supply markets, suppliers and products/services to select best available solutions compliant with PMI Principles & Practices.15 Interact with other functions for day to day operation.16 Support Project Manager to determine price forecasts for budget cycles**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Dental insurance- Flexible schedule- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Vision insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Overtime payAbility to Commute:- Batu Kawan (required)
