At RRC, our goal is to be one of the leading renewables advisors both in the US and internationally.Do you want to be part of a team of professionals working together helping to power the renewables industry?The Project Scheduler is essentially part of the project management team, mainly focused on schedule and resource management. Works closely with the project managers in schedule planning, coordinating tasks, and monitoring the timelines of scheduled assignments. This position is also expected to identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action.MUST UNDERSTAND & PERSONIFY RRC'S CORE BELIEFS- Client Satisfaction - understands the goal of always exceeding our client's expectation- Employee Happiness - able to work well with others. communicate clearly with coworkers, promote a positive work environment and mediate conflicts between team members.- Quality Work - Ability to take ownership, work independently, prioritize workload and deliver quality results on time while working on multiple projects simultaneously.- Above and Beyond - Versatility, flexibility, ability to anticipate the needs of the company, take the initiative and a willingness to go out of your way to assist others.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with the project team to develop, maintain and manage the project schedule.- Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects.- Review of the schedule and status of the plans during all phases of the projects- Ensure that all projects are being scheduled and forecast using a consistent methodology.- Responsible for reporting schedule deliverables to the project lead and the project team.- Lead in the creation of comprehensive schedule submissions using the Project Success Method, resource and cost loading as necessary.- Provide schedule analysis and metrics to key stakeholders on a regular basis.- Identifying activities impacting the schedule's critical path and facilitating the identification of opportunities to accelerate completion of the work, or measures to avoid potential delays.- Monitor and control the project through the various phases of the project lifecycle.- Manage the interface between the various contracts.- Participate in the development of standards to support the functional groups in successful delivery of projects.- Review vendor, sub-contractor and consultant schedule submittals and incorporate appropriate information into the schedule(s).QUALIFICATIONS:- Excellent communications abilities: both written and conversational- Stakeholder management: Able to work cross functionally to gather information from multiple sources and communicate instructions and purpose well.- Minimum 5years proven experience with the following software:- Smartsheet resource management- Primavera P6- MS Project- MS Excel- Other MS Office softwareEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in Project, Business, Engineering Management, or a related field is required.
