JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible in assisting Senior Engineers and Engineers by coordinating on-site projects with various stakeholders, deploying the right resources, and ensuring project quality and conditions meet the requirements to achieve project goals. To attend the daily HSE Toolbox Talk (TBT) on site with Contractors/sub-contractors to address all issues or challenges related to the HSE matters, works progress & follow up works. To coordinate and monitor daily project activities, ensuring HSE compliance and optimal resource allocation, with a specific focus on the unique needs of port operations and logistics To conduct daily checks, process confirmation and monitor all activity performed by contractors/sub-contractors is according to the project requirement. Assist in preparing the task punch list, review it with contractors, and validate actions taken on site. To observe and review areas for improvement (e.g., Method of Statement, HSE Plan, resources) and make recommendations. Ensure that services/products delivered by contractors comply with the safety and quality standards set by PTP. Responsible to ensure HSSE Standard compliance and no work suspension order from HSSE. Responsible to verify the validity of personnel competency certificates and ensure that PMA/PMT certifications for mobile equipment (such as mobile cranes/sky lifts-PMA and compressors-PMT), lifting gears, measuring tools, and PPE are all checked and confirmed. Provide information and feedback (verbally, in writing, or both) to superiors to support the successful completion of the project. To carry out other duties as instructed by the superior. REQUIREMENT Possess a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other engineering from a recognized college/university. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in both technical and project management roles. Prior experience in a container port environment will be considered a significant advantage. Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical works for heavy machinery, as well as marine and port equipment, will be considered an added advantage. Certifications such as CSWIP 3.0 and/or ASNT Level I/II or higher will be beneficial. Ability to coordinate multiple project activities with minimal supervision. Highly motivated with the capacity to work independently. Resourceful and well-organized, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office. Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malay, in both verbal and written forms. Willingness to work extra hours, including public holidays and days off/rest days. Capable of adapting to a dynamic, challenging, and demanding work environment. Free from Acrophobia (fear of heights) and Claustrophobia (fear of confined spaces).
