**Job Overview**:We are seeking a motivated and reliable efficient Floor Staff to assist the waitrons in providing quality customer service to our customers. The Floor Staff's responsibilities include greeting and welcoming customers, ensuring that server stations are well-organized, removing restaurant trash, and attending staff meetings and training as needed. You should also be able to respond to customers' requests in a timely manner.To be successful as Floor Staff, you should be knowledgeable about proper food handling procedures and have excellent organizational skills. Ultimately, exceptional Floor Staff should be able to communicate effectively with both wait staff and patrons as well as demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.- Clearing tableware at dining tables once customer completed their meals and taking them to the check point to be washed.- Assisting customers in locating suitable dining tables.- Setting tables with clean napkins and tableware.- Ensuring that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and condiments.- Assisting the wait staff in delivering meal items to customers as needed.- Assisting the wait staff in processing customers' payments.- Performing clean-up duties, which include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors as well as polishing counters and fixtures.- Answering customers' questions regarding meal ingredients and preparation.- Notifying the manager of low or depleted restaurant supplies.- To take up any other duty from time to time, by the management.**Requirements**:- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).- Food handler's certification is preferred.- Proven experience working in the foodservice industry.- Sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures.- The ability to stand for extended periods.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Effective communication skills.- Exceptional customer service skills.- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.- Able to read and write.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM7.50 - RM9.00 per hourExpected hours: 12 per week**Benefits**:- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- Afternoon shift- Day shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonusExpected Start Date: 03/10/2024
