Our client is a creatives and relevance branding impact to a wide range of clienteles.**Key responsibilities**:- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, reporters, editors, and other media professionals.- Proactively pitch story ideas and press releases to media outlets to generate positive media coverage.- Respond to media inquiries promptly and manage crisis communications, if necessary.- Content Creation - Editorial and Social Media- Develop compelling press releases, articles, and other written materials for media distribution.- Craft persuasive and engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and newsletters.- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.Reporting:- Monitor and analyse media coverage and public opinion to assess the organisation's or client's public image.- Develop strategies to address and counter any negative publicity or misconceptions.- Proactively identify potential PR issues and provide recommendations for mitigation.- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.- Provide regular reports on key PR metrics, such as media coverage, social media engagement, and brand sentiment.**Role requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in public relations. Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related fields.- Proven work experience in public relations including internships, preferably within a relevant industry or agency setting.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Familiarity with media outreach tools and techniques.- Proficiency in using social media platforms for PR purposes.- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.- High level of professionalism and integrity.
