Job Responsibility Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services. Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets. Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control processes to minimize excess or obsolete inventory. Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier reviews to maintain a high standard of quality and service. Job Requirements At least a Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field. Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in the construction industry will be advantages. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Can speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands. Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in the construction industry, will be an advantage.
