Purchaser/ Procurement Executive

To assist in the daily operations of the Procurement Department- To handle all purchasing duties including liaising with external vendors and suppliers, request for quotes, order confirmations, and deliveries- To perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management, and continuous improvement for the company- To work closely with suppliers and forwarding agents/logistics team to coordinate timely delivery of all products purchased including follow-up shipments schedules, shipment clearance, and inventories control- Alert on shipment deliveries and update on necessary improvements internally- To follow up on suppliers' payment with the Accounts department- To maintain up-to-date shipping, logistics, and its related knowledge for shipping efficiency- To perform data analysis for improvements in purchasing and warehouse operation- To generate monthly purchasing report and department expenses report- To assist in monitoring and managing stock levels- To monitor warehouse storage space for optimum inventory in the warehouse- To work closely with internal departments on a day-to-day basis- To organize and maintain an efficient filing system for the Procurement department- To ensure proper documentation is recorded, maintained and updated in the system- To support and perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by HOD and The Management**Job Requirement**- Minimum 2 years and above of related working experience is required for this position.- Good negotiation and excellent communication skills with knowledge of suppliers sourcing.- Posses' good problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.- Able to work independently.- Willing to relocate**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shiftSupplemental Pay:- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)**Experience**:- Buyer/Purchaser: 2 years (preferred)
