And our brilliant, passionate, and driven team of more than 5,000 people globally are Powering Positive Change every day.Are you ready to power positive change?SUMMARY OF ROLEThe Purchasing Analyst/Senior Purchasing Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data, reporting and recommending improvements to improve work productivity, coordinating with colleagues to implement changes and new systems as well as supporting the development and execution of activities in purchasing. The role includes maintenance of purchase contracts with suppliers, managing data collection to support team performance metrics and interacting with cross functional teams to improve the inventory and cost. The Purchasing Analyst/Senior Purchasing Analyst reports to the Senior SCM Director.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:**1. Order and Inventory Management**:Order and inventory AnalysisContract ManagementInternal/External Audit Coordination.Purchasing Metrics Reporting.**2. Supplier Management and Improvement**:Supplier Communication**3. People/System Management and Development**:System improvement and support, Monitor and Execute KRs requirements.Career & Development Planning.Compliance (e.g. SOX, OIM) & Continuous Improvement Activities (e.g. BI/CG).Participating in cross functional team activities.SOP update & prepare purchasing report.Represent Purchasing in UAT & issues resolution**RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in any discipline preferably in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Business or EngineeringMinimum 2~3 years' relevant working experience in similar role is required.Experience in supply chain management including purchasing and knowledge related to semiconductor / solar industry is a plus.**Skills and competency**:Experience in ERP system (Oracle, SAP or equivalent) is preferredExperience in Solar, Semiconductor and Electronics industry is an added advantage.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to work as a Team, good organization, communication, presentation and people skills.**Preferred requirements**:Certified internal or external auditors is an added advantage.Good system knowledge e.g. Oracle/SAP.Good knowledge of MS Applications (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)Experience with solar, semiconductor backend or wafer fab processes.Experience in leading projects independently and working with cross functional team across multiple manufacturing sitesSafety ComplianceYour safety is our number one priority at Maxeon.
