**Responsibilities**:- Manage, source, procure/purchase, shipment and inventory planning activities- Conduct evaluation, assessment and analysis for suppliers as and when needed- Product purchase negotiation with suppliers and service providers- Supervise and improve the purchasing work flow- Review orders and reschedule according to customer's forecast- Verifies receipts of items by comparing items received against items ordered, resolves shipment error with overseas' suppliers- Communicate with sales department for advanced notice in case any order is delayed**Requirements**:- Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management/Business Administration or equivalent- At least 4 - 5 years of working experience in the area of procurement & purchasing in trading (import & export) industries is an added advantage- Knowledge of shipping documents and shipping terms- Experienced in sourcing/purchasing technical items from overseas' suppliers is preferred- Have some knowledge of SST claiming procedures- Possess strong critical thinking, strategic skills, attention to details and high level of integrity- Capable of both working independently and as part of a team and able to communicate effectively at all levels- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia**Salary**: RM6,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Performance bonusApplication Question(s):- How many years of experience in dealing with overseas' suppliers?
