**_Position Description _**:- _ Position Title: Purchasing ExecutiveDepartment: AdminTenure Status: Permanent Full-Time**_Position Summary: _**- The Employee Will: _- Be motivated and enthusiastic about all aspects of the role and keen to take on responsibilities.- Enjoy a challenge and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.- Be highly organised, with excellent time management skills, attention to detail and an ability to work independently and well with a team to complete a set task.- Responsibilities/Objectives: _**Supply Chain**- To manage the business-wide material planning activities by working closely withOperations, Logistics and Businesses to optimize inventory across the supply chain consistent with customer service and "lowest cost supplier" objectives.- Responsible for product costing related activities including: Standard Product Price,Material Costing and Certificate of Origin (COO) Costing.- To collaborate with financial manager and sales to work out the best quotation price and price list to clients.- Maintain the equilibrium between uncertain demand, forecast accuracy and inventory level.- Provides expertise in all supply chain related areas, i.e supply chain networks and related transportation costs, inventory management, ROI analysis, etc.**Purchase**- Preparation of procurement documentations.- Responsible for order processing and delivery to ensure a smooth and efficient process flow.- To ensure customer satisfaction and effective inventory management by providing appropriate proposal in the areas of production planning, materials and inventory control.- Close collaboration with Sales/Marketing/ Customer Service and ProductionTeams.- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors, or freight forwarders.- Manage stocks levels by ensuring appropriate parameters are attain the target stocks levels and hitting the agreed service levels with customers.- Identify and qualify new suppliers, ensuring their capability to meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements.- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as necessary.**Shipping**- Prepare the yearly LMW forecast to shipping team for LMW license renewal.- Monitor the importation shipping rate changes and liaise with shipping team to book the suitable sailing schedules for material orders with FOB term.- Any other ad hoc assignments from Management- Requirements: _- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data analysis, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.- Excellent Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.- Strong data analysis skills to interpret and derive insights from purchasing data.- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with suppliers- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment- Note: _As this is a small company, all staff must be able and willing to assist in a range of activities.**_Organisation Relationships _**:- _ The Employee will report to the General Manager**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: Up to RM4,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional development- Vision insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary- Attendance bonus- Commission pay- Overtime pay- Performance bonus- Yearly bonus**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Buyer/Purchaser: 3 years (preferred)Ability to Commute:- Iskandar Puteri (preferred)Ability to Relocate:- Iskandar Puteri: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
