Purchasing Executive - Hotel

The Hotel Purchasing Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the hotel operates efficiently, cost-effectively, and with high standards of quality and service.- Collaborate with various departments, vendors, and management to achieve these objectives while adhering to the hotel's policies and budget constraints.- Managing and overseeing the procurement of goods and services necessary for the smooth operation of the hotel.- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and seek opportunities for cost savings and improvements in service quality.- Monitor and control the hotel's inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials.- Ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet operational needs while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.- Implement inventory tracking systems to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.- Ensure that all purchased goods and services meet quality and safety standards.- Be prepared to handle urgent procurement needs that may arise, such as equipment repairs or replacements.- Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to purchasing and procurement.- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and contracts.**Requirements**:- Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.- Extensive experience in Purchasing, with at least 2 years of working experiences within the hotel industry.- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
