Qa Automation Engineer

A rapidly expanding fintech organisation is recruiting for a talented QA Automation Engineer job in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting directly to the QA Manager, this is a role for a QA Engineer who is creatively analytical in problem solving in their field.

About the QA Automation Engineer Role:
In this challenging role, you will need to take pride in your work, be passionate about solving problems, and be able to ensure a high level of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create manual test cases, test scripts, test planning and test documentation
- Write automation test scripts for API, Mobile and Web based on OpenSource frameworks like Selenium, Appium and Cucumber among others
- Functional and regression testing on mobile and website clients and backend services
- Prepare test summary reports
- Identify root causes when there are customer issues To succeed in this QA Automation Engineer role, you will need at least more than three years of experience as a QA Engineer and at least one year in automation testing.

Key Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with testing mobile applications, web applications and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Performance and Load testing such as k6, JMeter etc.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Hands-on experience in functional testing, date-driven testing, and closed box testing
- Experience with bug tracking system (JIRA)
- Strong analytical and verbal communication skills
