Client Background: A subsidiary of a Singapore-based indie game studio specialises in mobile game development. They have offices in Singapore (HQ), Malaysia, Vietnam and Taiwan (latest addition). They have battle-tested entrepreneurs and leaders leading each functional department from developing games to marketing and operationalising them.
Location: The Horizon, Bangsar South

Position: QA – Game Tester

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: Up to RM3,500

Job Description

Participate in the testing process to ensure the quality of our top-rated mobile games based on relevant requirements and checklists as well as describe and report bugs on bug databases.

Working closely with producers and programmers from the beginning to the end of game production cycle (with Singapore/Kuala Lumpur/Ho Chi Minh team)

Working closely with Game Developer and Game designer in test bug and debug for mobile games.

Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans.

Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

Reporting issues by using bug tracking tools

Requirements

Good to have QA experience (game).

Good skills of English: speaking, reading and writing.

Know how to use QA platforms or software which are related to QA things.

Self-motivated to learn and acquire new knowledge.

Strong interest and experience in playing video games.

Attention to details.

Office computer literacy
