Quality Assurance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTIONS 1. The candidate will report to and assist immediate superior in managing quality control of finished goods produced by subcontractors and OEMs. 2. Ensure that output samples are inspected using industry-appropriate methods, i.e. ISO******** as required by SIRIM or any relevant standards. 3. Liaise with quality teams to check and test quality control by comparing to ISO standards, measuring dimensions and examining required technical aspects. 4. To execute finished goods sampling plan as per ISO’s AQL table. 5. To ensure finished goods produced adheres to standards and procedures and complying with internal standard requirements. 6. Keep abreast and have in-depth understanding of industry best practices and company’s standards. 7. Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to finished goods produced. 8. Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing reworks and inputting data into quality database. 9. Responsible for training of the quality assurance team on quality control measures to improve product excellence. 10. Proposing improvements to production process. 11. Monitoring the use of measuring equipment to ensure it is safe and within industry requirements as well as operating within calibrated parameters. 12. Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training. 13. Any other project or task as assigned by superior.
