Quality Assurance Specialist

**QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE**:1. Must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level in any field.2. Keen eye for detail.3. Ability to focus for long periods.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:1. Support the development of methods, procedures, and embedded tests for inspection, testing and evaluation of manufactured products.2. Complete documentation necessary for the support of traceability, testing procedures, including inventory forms, data capture forms and equipment logbooks.3. Conduct analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods and environmental samples, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications.4. Perform routine checks throughout the day to monitor processing, packaging, formulation and sanitation.5. Monitor testing procedures and processes to ensure tests performed are done according to item specifications, protocols and standard test methods.6. Interpret test results and compare them to the specifications and control limits in place while providing recommendations on the appropriateness of data.7. Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly and ensure safety during operation of equipment.8. Assist with training new technicians, teaching them the ins and outs of the job and the specifications, standards and regulations to be met.9. Participate in problem solving activities to support internal and customer concerns resolution and reduce cost of poor quality.10. Assess analytical and testing methods and procedures in order to determine how they can be improved in the future11. Ensures compliance to HACCP, DVS, and ISO 22000 standards.12. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.**AUTHORITY**:1. To collect samples from processes and/or finished goods for analyses.
