**Key Responsibilities**:- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the quality control team, ensuring all quality control processes are followed effectively and efficiently.- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards to meet or exceed industry requirements and customer expectations.- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.- Identify and analyze quality control issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address them.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall product quality.- Train and educate employees on quality control processes, standards, and best practices to enhance their understanding and compliance.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.- Monitor and evaluate quality control metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement efforts and achieve quality objectives.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to quality control and incorporate them into the company's quality management system.- Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization by promoting a proactive and customer-focused approach.**Qualifications and Skills**:- Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
