The Quantity Surveyor shall report to Project Manager and his responsibilities shall include:- '¢ Originate the overall project budget and perform overall project cost control. '¢ To monitor the Contract Administration and Sub-Contract Procurement '¢ To monitor the purchasing matter '¢ Prepare monthly reports required by the contract for presentation '¢ Prepare the proposal for variations/claims for presentation to the client '¢ Submit the invoices to the client and receive the payment '¢ Control project documentation '¢ Check and review Bill of Quantities that was prepared by the Consultant '¢ Review of sub-contract and material procurement planning '¢ Expediting and tracking of delivery schedules '¢ Handling of free issue equipment supplied by the client (if applicable) '¢ Prepare and submit progress claim to Client on time '¢ Verify sub-contractor's claim for payment, certificates and expediting payment '¢ Valuation of sub-contractor's variation and additional works '¢ Focal point of contract on contractual issues on the project '¢ Coordinate with the client on instructions and variations '¢ Coordinate with sub-contractor on site instruction and variations '¢ Compile the necessary documents for extension of time claimBMG Global Sdn Bhd is a certified High Performing Bumiputera Company (TeraS) by Teraju, CIDB Grade G7 & ISO 9001:2015.
