**Vacancy**:**Job title**- Regional Product Segment Manager - Sealants & Waterproofing**Department**- Commercial**Close date**- 31st July 2024**Location**- Shah Alam*****Job description**:**Job description**- Lead the efforts to increase sales team capabilities, portfolio utilisation, new product introductions and best practice implementation for the following product segments:- Sealants- Waterproofing- Ensure that the product segment sales budgets are achieved / exceeded across the region- Act as the key linkage between the regional / local team and Group Product Segment Managers and Heads of Technology- Lead in the management of selected key accounts / major projects across the region- Lead the development of a cost effective and high performance product portfolio across the region**Responsibilities**- Working with local GSMs and teams to implement the sales and technical programmes- Working with construction sales teams to improve productivity and performance- Regular communication with Group leaders to transfer knowledge and best practice- Manage the portfolio via structured product development, launch and cost optimisation- Working with local GSMs, participate in sales and technical activities for selected Key Accounts and major projects**Skills required**- 1.Min 10 years-experience in a commercial or technical role with one or more of:- Concrete chemicals supplier- Multinational contractor in materials engineering or similar role- Multinational architect or consultant- Applicator with major projects experience2.Excellent understanding of the relevant product segments, with particular ability to interpret customer requirements into competitive solutions- 3.Proven ability to:- Lead multicultural and cross functional teams, in a matrix organisation, without direct reports- Interface with and influence senior stakeholders across a regional and global organisation4.Able to demonstrate personal impact in developing an organisation / function from a start-up or business recovery situation- 5.Excellent communication skills**Educational requirements**- 1.Previous experience in the construction / cement / concrete / construction industry in SE Asia- 2.Experience and/or qualifications in project management- 3.Civil Engineering or chemistry qualifications- 4.Experience with Key Account Management- 5.Affiliation with a recognised industry/trade body**Job role notes
