Research Assistant

**Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:To carry out research tasks according to the research protocol. Generally, these include:- Develops, submits, and manages original institutional review board (IRB) submissions.- Recruits and manages individuals to participate in study-related activities, such as focus group discussions, online and in-person surveys, and other study activities.- Produces and disseminate announcements to support the recruitment of participants into the research studies.- Works independently and has strong communication skills.**Required Skills & Qualifications**:- Maintain ethical conduct and maturity when asking sensitive questions- **Must be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English** (Chinese or Tamil will be a bonus)- Ability to quickly problem solve, and work collaboratively under pressure- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and flexibility- Ability to communicate accomplishments and project barriers to multidisciplinary team- Ability to learn via trainings, new software for project management, data management, etc.Application:Contract length: 12 monthsPay: RM2,900.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to Friday**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)Job-related location requirement:Expected Start Date: 03/21/2024
