**BRIEF**A Research Assistant is a key member responsible for providing support in various aspects of the research process to achieve the company R&D goals. This role involves new product development, formulation optimisation, quality assurance and technical support.**JOB DESCRIPTION**- New Product Development: Conduct research to develop innovative base oil formulations that align with market trends and customer needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from conceptualization to commercialization through rigorous experiments, sampling and tests.- Formulation Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing formulations to enhance product performance, durability, and sustainability. Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate new materials and technologies into formulations.- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products.- Project Management: Lead and contribute to research projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met. Document and communicate research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
