Road Logistics Customer Care & Operations Specialist

You will be part of our Road Logistics team, adding your expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational excellence.- ** Your Role **:To support Road Logistics business activities within guidelines to achieve organization's short and long term business goals. Handles day to day operations such as order processing, attending to customer's queries, finance functions and vendor performance management.- ** Your Responsibilities**:You will complete a variety of operational tasks as well as following up on customer + vendor payments, including but not limited to the following.- To provide proper costing responses to generic rate enquiries, establishing a generic pricing table as required.- To execute all shipments smoothly, ensuring profiles are updated into relevant systems, + that door-to-door monitoring of status is in place at every step including close coordination with endorsed carriers.- To establish + strengthen operational relation with customer contact(s) through daily interactions, regular calls or visits + pro-actively advising + consulting to ensure customer satisfaction.- To document, resolve, analyze all complaints + then identify, share + eliminate root causes.- To ensure that shipments are profitable, highlighting with any loss-making shipments to the most senior manager, obtaining prior approval before proceeding.- To ensure that all costs accrued are correct with all invoices reflect the right pricing.- To liaise with customers directly, resolving feedback in a manner that provides explanations, puts the customer at ease + demonstrates that the right corrective actions are put in place to prevent a reoccurrence.**Your Skills and Experiences**:- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in Overland Operations in a Freight Forwarding / Trucking / Logistics Company.- Proficient in problem solving, business savvy & organization skills and stakeholder management.- Ability to work well under pressure.- Flexible**A propos de Kuehne+Nagel***Mit mehr als 80,000 Mitarbeitern an mehr als 1.300 Standorten in über 100 Ländern zählt Kühne+Nagel zu den global führenden Logistikdienstleistern.Kühne+Nagel steht als Arbeitgeber für Chancengleichheit und wir engagieren uns auch im Hinblick auf Personen mit Behinderung für Diversität in unseren Teams.
