Job Description:Responsibilities:- 1. Provide Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) support in accordance with the requirements of the local SHE legislations (in particular, the Workplace Safety & Health Act, Environmental Protection and Management Act, Fire Safety Act, etc.), company internal standards.2. Lead and/or support SHE programs at site to ensure full compliance with local SHE laws, regulations and company standards, and to effectively facilitate the management of SHE, sustainability, hazards and risks for the following core competencies / areas: SHE Management System, Emergency Response, Safe Systems of Work e.g. Permit to Work System, Construction and Demolition, Health and Safety of Visitors and Contractors, Workplace SHE, Workplace Transport.3. Support the manufacturing business aligned with the Site, Supply Chain and Overall Business SHE ambition and direction.4. Manage and support programs at site to ensure full compliance with local SHE laws, regulations and company standards, and to effectively facilitate the management of SHE, sustainability, hazards and risks.5. Drive initiatives on Safety, Energy, Water Conservation, Waste Management, Employee Health and Environment risks and continuous improvement.6. Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive safety & health programs at manufacturing site.7. Conducts safety meetings, safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action and follow up assessments.8. Plans and conducts safety compliance training programs to all involved parties.9. Provides project management team with guidance on safety & health and confirm project site fulfils industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.10. Provides technical support on safety and health matters to project management team and manufacturing team11. Collaborates with management to develop Contractor Management Plan which includes Emergency Action Plan, Permit to Work and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.12. Collaborates with related parties which includes Procurement, Engineering, HQ Manufacturing to integrate safety & health requirements into the overall process from tendering, award of project, and contractor performance evaluation.13. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good safety & health practices.14. Report and highlight major noncompliance issue for accident prevention to Management.15. Propose recommendation for any safety & health compliance issue identified in construction sites to Management.16. Liaise with relevant authorities (DOSH, CIDB, BOMBA, local municipal council, etc) and work closely with the project management team for closure of any issue raised by relevant authorities.17. To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.Qualifications:- Minimum Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety / Engineering / Science- Registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book) with DOSH (must have)- Good knowledge and experience to liaise with all relevant authorities including DOSH, CIDB, BOMBA, local municipal council, etc- Good knowledge of plant operating equipment (technical).- Pleasant personality and able to interact all levels of people.- Willing to travelPay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
