Safety Assistant

Job Scope:- Ensure compliance to the relevant authorities requirements such as DOSH/CIDB pertaining to HSE statutory and other requirements;- Assist project leader on the measures to be taken related to occupational HSE at respective workplace;- Inspect the respective workplace to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process or any description of manual labour used at the workplace, is such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any working personnel;- Assist HSE Officer to investigate/organize investigation for any incident, accident, near-miss accident which occurs at respective workplace, recommend appropriate safety measures to prevent and submit accident reports on time;- Assist the HSE Officer to submit a monthly report to project leader pertaining his activities and HSE performance at respective workplace;- Ensure/issue personal protective equipment to workers at respective workplace and monitor the issuance of the equipment by sub-contractors to their workers;**Requirements**:- At least 2 years of working experience in construction industry (building works).- Fresh graduates are mostly welcome.- Able to work beyond normal working hours/weekends/public holidays.- Able to start work immediately/short notice is required.- Education: Minimum diploma preferably in Safety and Health Management.**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Maternity leave- Meal provided- Professional development**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
