1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:1.1 To monitor, control and ensure total compliance of all safety, health and environmental, legal and corporate requirements of the company.1.2 To anticipate, prevent and eliminate all unsafe conditions and practices on the site that could lead to occupational injuries and illness.1.3 Work very closely with all department heads to provide input related to every major safety, health and environmental matters.1.4 Externally, to maintain a network of contacts and coordinates with the various regulatory authorities i.e. Fire Department, Department of Occupational Safety & health, National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health, Public Health division of the Ministry of health and the local municipal council. Apart from regulatory/governmental authorities, a reasonable level of interaction and networking is to take place with practitioners within the industrial estate and the relevant industry.1.5 To ensure the site is in full compliance to local authorities' requirements and provide training as necessary.1.6 Towards zero accidents/ injuries - by periodic checks on all site procedures per requirements ensuring total adherence. Continuous audits to be used in this pursuit.1.7 Minimize health effects of employees by continuously monitoring exposure limits of noise, dust, chemicals, gases, etc. Periodic condition checks to be done.1.8 To be actively involved in risk/hazard assessment on the site in the spirit of continual improvement.1.9 Dealing with DOE, DOSH, BOMBA and local authority to ensure good working relationship is maintained.1.10 To comply with all safety rules, safety working practices and procedures.1.11 To continue with weekly environmental checks around the factory/worksite to ensure the company complies with the SHE plan, procedures and statutory regulations.1.12 To ensure the security at worksite.1.13 To ensure the smooth flow of logistic at worksite.1.14 To ensure the worksite is free from illegal activities.1.15 To provide employee orientation in the Safety Department ensuring that new staffs are being briefed on the Company's Safety Policy.1.16 To provide employee orientation in your Department ensuring that new staffs are being briefed on the Company's Policy and Quality Objectives.1.17 To ensure the Integrated Management Systems procedures are implemented.2. QUALIFICATION:2.1 Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Science or Certificate in Safety and Health Officer by NIOSH.2.2 Registered as Safety and Health Officer with DOSH.2.3 Familiar with OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967 and its regulations**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insuranceSupplemental pay types:- Performance bonus**Language**:- Speak, read and write in Mandarin?
