Job Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss situations, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.4. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, providing guidance to employees and management as needed.5. Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, ensuring they are well-informed about safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).6. Maintain and update safety records, incident reports, and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.7. Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to identify safety needs, address concerns, and develop effective solutions.8. Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and control potential workplace hazards.9. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to occupational health and safety.10. Participate in safety committee meetings and represent the organization in external safety forums or meetings.Job Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) are advantageous.2. Valid Green Book holder registered with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH)3. Familiarity with local, state, and federal occupational health and safety laws and regulations.4. Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident investigation techniques.5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach.6.
