Sales Agronomist

Introduction:
The incumbent must have passion in sustainable agriculture and has interest in performing product & business development in Composting application. He/She must be able to promote Compost sales to farmers and potential customers.
Job Description:
Sales :
- Responsible for achieving sales, coordinate delivery of goods to Clients and make collection as per Company’s target
- Responsible for handling sales & technical inquiry, request for services by Client, perform facts finding visit and follow up visit, attend to customer complaint
- Responsible in building awareness to sustainable farming through Compost product
- Provide sales planning and budget
- Prepare sales & marketing materials
- Arrange and coordinate various technical and marketing activities, these may include field days, farmer meetings, provide product know-how to vendors, demonstration trials and trial sites
- Develop and maintain close customer relations with Clients by providing professional agronomic service and advice
Technical :
- Participate with production team in providing technical solutions to achieve issues related to product specifications, performance and differentiation
- Work with production team to provide User feedback and to conduct product improvement
- Conduct plot trial at field
- Define product usage for different applications
- Define specific performance of Product
Job Requirements:
- At least Certificate in Planting Industry Management or a related field such as horticulture, agriculture, plant physiology or environmental science
- At least 2 years working experiences
- Friendly, result oriented, think critically to solve problem and independent at work
- Good command of languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess valid driving licence and willing to travel independently in Sabah
Successful candidate will be trained in Nutrition farming. Those having knowledge & experience nutrition farming or organic farming are encouraged to apply.
