The Business Development team is responsible for driving new business acquisition across the Legal, Corporate, Government and Academic segments in Malaysia.**Responsibilities**:- Driving new business growth, meeting revenue targets, and increasing market share- Identifying and developing sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology- Leading the field based sales team in the end-to-end sales cycle which requires strong prospecting, cold-calling and closing capabilities.- Collaborating with Marketing in lead generation and opportunity identification- Developing relationships during new business acquisition and facilitating handover to the Relationship Management team.- Team performance management through effective use of CRM for pipeline update and team activity management- Motivating, training, and developing the sales team to achieve their targets- Providing regular coaching and feedback to the sales team to ensure continuous improvement**Requirements**:- Minimum 8 years experience in Sales within a prominent organization where structure sales and consultative selling approaches are used.- Be able to engage and sell to C-level client stakeholders and key decision-makers- Have experience as a successful team lead with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.- Have demonstrated ability to motivate, train and develop a team- Possess a high level of communication and presentation skills- Have developed computer skills including Word, Excel, Database, etc.- Be able to work independently, effectively manage time and prioritize tasksWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
