About the roleWhat you need to know:Overall Job PurposeActs as a frontline field Manager to Identify Existing and Potential Producers to Recruit, Train, Retain, Drive and Develop towards higher productivity. He/ She will assist and support Branch Manager in achieving the Sales Budget and realizing goals of Profitability, Growth, Retention, Professionalism, Compliance & Customer Satisfaction.Key Job ResponsibilitiesAct as Key Agency touch point to AIG producers and franchise dealers in Kuantan.Deploy & execute Company / Branch Business Strategy Plans including budget formulation.Develop & deliver weekly Agency Activity Plan, Sales Projection and uphold Retention Business across all lines of business.Build rapport and coordinate new business/ renewal business with underwriters.Conduct CPD training to AIG Producers (both technical & non-technical).Assist Finance Team to perform collection on overdue policy premium.Accomplish tasks assigned by Management as and when required.General Working KnowledgeCompetent Auto Insurance knowledge.Competent General Insurance knowledge.Understanding of General Insurance claims procedures.Understanding and application of Marketing Principles.Understanding of company policies and procedures.Competent in utilizing IT Systems to formulate sales plans and agency management.Basic understanding of Financial Services Act, FSA 2013.General Working Skills / AbilitiesCompetent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Proactive and is a good team member.Strong interpersonal skill with good communication flair.Likes to work under tight deadlines.Likes to see value beyond price; see solutions beyond challenges.What we’re looking for: RequirementCreative and passionate about sales and marketing.Preferred candidate from Insurance/ Sales and Marketing background.Minimum 2 + years of working experience.
