The role

Manages individual contributors and/or Team Leads within a practice domain. The manager is aligned with and provided required input into local and global vision and strategy. The Lead is responsible for a segment within a given practice domain, focused on a specific industry, service line, country or region within a country. They are responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has accountability to support direct manager in managing profit and loss or financial/expense management of practice

Core :

+ Maintains operational direction, ensuring quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

+ Is required to support of the sales organization in business development, pursuit and engagement delivery, ensuring the right level of sales and delivery capacity is available to execute on the service pipeline

+ Supports Team Leads in the resolution of project escalation.

+ Leads and actively manages repeat project escalations to resolution.
+ Ensures that business objectives are achieved by focusing on delivery execution and that best practices are followed

+ Required to collaborate and share best practices and resources cross countries to provide services of the highest quality

+ Provides input and executes on the service business plan

+ Maintaining the balance between sales support and delivery accountabilities

+ Required set quarterly goals to the team and to perform the yearly appraisals for the team

+ Highly focus on people management and providing local direction

+ Cultural role model for team members ""Leading by Example""

+ Minimum of 20% chargeability on delivery engagements depending on team size
+ Contribute to the local practice domain budget planning

Job Specific :

+ People leadership of Domain Practice team members in country

+ Work with the Global Services team to apply globally defined Services to local market

+ Develop local training plans to ready the local Practice team members for Service delivery

+ Mentor team members and assist them with their professional development

+ Provide training to local Sales organization of SoftwareONE Service offering, unique value proposition and local capability to deliver

+ Responsible for the successful completion of customer projects in complex environments across multiple regions
+ Provide input to target Account Business Plans to position SoftwareONE Services

+ Provide thought leadership in highly complex projects/programs throughout the pre-sales and initial planning process

+ Lead Opportunity Assessment reviews to qualify delivery risks to provide a profitable business

+ Provide input to the annual budget planning exercise with Country Manager and Global Vertical Services Director

+ Manages and reports on chargeability of team against committed vertical Services budget

+ Actively tries to understand the emerging business trends (financial, operational, technical and human) through interaction with clients and industry peers and is able to discuss them and provide inputs as and when required.

+ Leads the Knowledge Management responsibilities in Country in-line with Global guidelines.

+ Completes quarterly and annual people management responsibilities in-line with Global guidelines.
+ Practice Manager is expected to maintain a chargeability target of 20%

What we need to see from you

+ Overall 4-6 years of experience within the domain of practice

+ Detailed understanding of organizational structure, delivery requirements and services provided within is practice domain of expertise

+ 3 to 6 month external management training course

+ Requiers a solid backgound in Software Asset Management services

+ Has the releveant experience in SAM publisher audits and support as well as compliance publisher partner programs

+ Relevent experieince in SAM Managed Service, but not limited to Microsoft.
+ Experience in the utilization of SAM datacollection and management tools. Eg SNOW, Flexera ect.

+ Demonstrates an understanding of the business impact of SAM services in the customer environment.

+ Actively participated in SAM pre-sales activities.

+ Backgound in technology consulting services

+ Supported in a technology sales function

+ Perfomed work within the relevant technology realm in a delivery capacity

+ Understand the implication of change though the implementation of technology to the business

+ Strong structural work methods, multitasking and time management skills
+ Solid problem solving and assertive consultative skills

+ Strong in project management and project leadership

+ Skills in business process analysis

+ Technology basic skills regarding system platforms (MS) client & server and midrange environment
