Location:- Kulim- Specialisation:- Engineering & Manufacturing- Salary:- MYR 240,000 - 300,000 (Annual)- Reference:- PR/156623- Contact details:- Rita Boon- Job published:- January 31, 2024 10:56**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**- Develop and implement SCM strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and drive growth while minimizing costs.- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and operations, and external suppliers, customers, and partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization.- Lead the development of the SCM roadmap, including identifying key initiatives, prioritizing actions, and measuring success against defined metrics.- Ensure that the company's SCM function is aligned with industry best practices and continuously improving through the implementation of new technologies, tools, methodologies, and process improvements.- Manage the SCM budget, including capital expenditure requests, cost savings initiatives, and supplier spend management programs.- Develop and implement contingency planning strategies for supply chain risks, including supplier diversification, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting.- Ensure that the company's SCM function is compliant with all regulatory requirements, including environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.- Lead the development of the SCM talent strategy, including recruitment, training, and development programs, and ensure that the SCM team has the necessary skills and resources to deliver results.- Collaborate with the finance function to develop and implement SCM financial reporting and forecasting processes.- Represent the company in industry forums and associations, sharing best practices and staying up to date with industry trends and developments.**JOB REQUIREMENTS**- Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SCM, with a proven track record of delivering results in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.- Experience in logistic, warehouse and planning
